In India, Teacher’s Day is celebrated just a month before the World Teacher’s Day i.e. October 05. The aim of the celebration of the day is to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the need of future generations will continue to be met by teachers. Teacher’s Day means to pay tribute to all the teachers. The day inspires every teacher to search in themselves a good mentor, guide, philosopher like Dr. Radhakrishnan. Rotary Public school celebrated the Teacher’s Day. It was a grand celebration. The school students made the day very special for every teacher. Senior students taught their juniors. Students’ enthusiasm showed them to be inspired by one or the other teacher. A special assembly was also held which had cultural programmes like Guru Vandana, Group Song, Solo Song and Gratitude by the Head Boy of the school. There was Cake Cutting ceremony as well to bring good luck to the teachers for their future. Kathaka dance by Aakanksha Vatsa and Abhinav of class 9th prepared by Mr. Pradyuma Bhargav was the real essence of the cultural Programme. All the teachers were happy to be privileged. The Principal of the school, Miss Gulshan Deewan applauded everybody’s effort.
